JC PENNEY follows Obama’s lead to support same-sex marriage at a time when the issue decided by voters in 30 states is headed to the US Supreme Court. Please send your email to JC Penney officials.

The combination of JC Penney’s same-sex Father’s Day ad campaign and choosing one of the nation’s foremost same-sex marriage advocates as a spokesperson makes the retailer a formidable advocate for same-sex marriage.

JC Penney is using their customer’s cash to validate same-sex marriage in an advertising campaign for Father’s Day.  The money you spend at JC Penney in the future could be used to pay for more same-sex relationship advocacy.

The above same-sex ad photo described here in the Yahoo.com news report was included in the JC Penney Father’s Day catalog.  Yahoo.com news reports:  Retailer J.C. Penney has released a Father's Day print ad featuring a real-life same-sex couple. The ad features Todd Koch and Cooper Smith hugging their two young children. The copy reads, "What makes Dad so cool? He's the swim coach, tent maker, best friend, bike fixer and hug giver -- all rolled into one. Or two."

JC Penney may be trying to attract consumers’ attention as their financial strength skids.  Their stock price has dropped 46.4% from this year’s March high of $43.18 to today’s $23.14.

Perhaps JC Penney believes in those liberal polls which claim that 50% of Americans think that same-sex marriage is morally acceptable and decided to chase that market like Obama did last month chasing progressive, liberal voters.

Those liberal poll numbers are very difficult to accept when North Carolina citizens voted 61% to 39% on May 8, 2012 to approve the most restrictive marriage amendment language in the country which banned all forms of official same-sex relationships.  The North Carolina constitutional amendment prohibits same-sex marriage, domestic partnerships and civil unions.

According to the Alliance Defense Fund’s DOMA Watch “Forty five (45) states prohibit same-sex marriage by constitutional amendment or state statute.  The voters in thirty (30) states have approved constitutional amendments that protect marriage and define it as only a union between one man and one woman.”

The JC Penney same-sex catalog photo, which many, many other companies have chosen to avoid, could influence more people to accept same-sex marriage which would undermine the traditional one man, one woman marital public policy of the super majority of states in America.  Additionally, the United States Supreme Court is being petitioned to consider this issue.

Earlier this year JC Penney made Ellen DeGeneres their company spokesperson. In and of itself DeGeneres spokesperson position for JC Penney did not promote same-sex relationships. DeGeneres lives a very open same-sex lifestyle. She has been very vocal about supporting same-sex marriage. However, her political positions did not appear to be part of her spokesperson role with JC Penney.

However, the combination of JC Penney’s same-sex Father’s Day ad campaign and choosing one of the nation’s foremost same-sex marriage advocates as a spokesperson makes the retailer a formidable advocate for same-sex marriage.

Hopefully, if enough people complain about JC Penney’s same-sex Father’s Day photo the company will avoid repeating these same-sex promotions in the future.

Florida Family Association has prepared an email for you to send urging JC Penney officials to stop giving place to same-sex marriage and relationships in their advertising.
