CAIR wants to replace the US Constitution with Sharia law.  Nihad Awad, CAIR Executive Director, proclaimed a plan to install 50 Muslims in congress during his speech at the 61st Annual Islamic Society of North America convention on August 30, 2024.  Awad said “That’s really the essence of dismantling the system of injustice is to replace it with the people of good will (ie Islamists) who represent the prophet Abu Salama.”   The “system of injustice” to be replaced that Awad must be referring to is the United States Constitution.  What other law would Muslims want in its place but Sharia?

CAIR wants Islam to dominate other religions.  Omar Ahmad, founder of the Council on American Islamic Relations, told a Muslim crowd "Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faiths, but to become dominant. The Koran, the Muslim book of scripture, should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth."  

Middle East Forum published an article titled and subtitled: HHS Launches Investigation into CAIR for Grant Abuses and Terror Links Following MEF Campaign -Secretary Kennedy Confirms Review That Could Bar the Hamas-Aligned Group from All Federal Funding for a Decade.  The article reports in part:

WASHINGTON D.C. – June 11, 2026 – The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is investigating the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) over alleged grant abuses and terror links. The probe could end in debarment, cutting the group off from all federal funding for up to a decade. The Middle East Forum (MEF) brought the allegations to the attention of HHS officials and members of Congress, along with recommendations to pursue CAIR’s suspension and debarment.

On Tuesday, the New York Post reported that HHS is probing the allegations against CAIR and could propose its debarment, prohibiting federal agencies from providing grants and contracts to CAIR.

“HHS has requested a review of allegations involving” CAIR and “its affiliates” in California and Washington, HHS Secretary Robert Kennedy, Jr., confirmed in a Tuesday X post. “If there is evidence of fraud, abuse, or ties to designated terrorist organizations, we will act,” Kennedy promised.

Citing a congressional letter, HHS Assistant Secretary for Financial Resources Gustav Chiarello wrote to California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) on June 9, 2026, pointing to “$27 million in HHS-originated funds” that were sub-granted to CAIR-California through the state’s Department of Social Services, and raising “concerns about the business practices and ethics” of CAIR.

“Congressman Chip Roy and other members of Congress have informed HHS that there may be connections between CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood and its Palestinian branch, Hamas,” Chiarello wrote.

America’s great future is threatened by the Islamist agenda to mandate Sharia law for all citizens.  

HHS must stay strong through to the end of this investigation.  

There is no doubt that there will be heavy communications from Muslims across America to oppose, challenge and threaten this investigation.

We need to thank Health and Human Services and encourage them to stand strong and pursue justice for the American people.
