Rachel Maddow gaslights her audience with inflammatory disinformation which inspires hate and potential violence toward other Americans. She has consistently taken a misinformed, hostile and unscientific view toward rational public policy. Rachel Maddow’s deployment of absurd, divisive emotional appeal influences irrational attitudes toward otherwise sane policies and well intended Americans. Her intent is to motivate her viewers to hate such rational policies and the people associated with these policies.
125 out of 171 companies (73%) stopped advertising on The Rachel Maddow Show as of October 31, 2025 after being encouraged to stop spending customer money on this reckless, hate inspiring program. Florida Family Association started contacting companies that advertised on The Rachel Maddow Show at the end of February 2025.
The companies that Stopped Advertising and the companies that Continued Advertising are listed at the bottom of this article.
Florida Family Association reported that 89 companies stopped advertising on The Rachel Maddow Show as of May 31, 2025.
When we challenge Corporate America to stop sponsoring leftist hate media and they respond by dropping their advertising it:
• Is a repudiation of the targeted media in the market place witnessed by the media talent, media network, advertising agencies and other advertisers.
• Means the advertiser chose to take a position for sanity over deliberately supporting insanity.
• Means the advertiser is more likely to take to heart what they did and apply it to other policies.
• Could lead to the elimination of the program or network. The Joy Reid Show, Al Jazeera America, All American Muslim and 37 other shows were dropped after Florida Family Association campaigns contacted advertisers. These shows are listed at the bottom of the Floridafamily.org Accomplishments page.
Here are some examples of the reckless, hate inspiring content of The Rachel Maddow Show:
Rachel Maddow gaslit her audience with blatant lies to wrongfully trash the credibility of the President of the United States and validated keeping hundreds of thousands of hardened criminal illegal aliens in our country on her June 9, 2025 show. The New York Post reports in part:
“He has no idea what to do with the sustained and growing and intractable and indomitable protest and opposition of the American people against him. And so he has decided to try to fix it by using the army. Sure. Game over, big guy. You lose. The movement against Trump is unstoppable, now more than ever,” Maddow said on her once-a-week show.
Maddow argued that Trump’s decision to send in the National Guard to help with the anti-ICE demonstrations in California was an example of the president not knowing how to handle a crisis. “What we are seeing right now in California is a president panicking. We have never before in the history of the US presidency, seen a president who is less popular than this one at this point in his term. And we have never seen a president less politically skilled, less politically equipped than this one to turn that kind of problem around, and so he has panicked, he is trying to hit the eject button,” she said.
Maddow’s statement “Game over, big guy. You lose. The movement against Trump is unstoppable, now more than ever” validated keeping hundreds of thousands of hardened criminal illegal aliens in our country.
Maddow falsely claimed that Elon Musk was profiteering from his relationship with Donald Trump by garnering $400M in contracts for armored Teslas. Mediate It published a report titled “Rachel Maddow Shreds State Department ‘Plan’ To Buy ‘Armored Teslas’ — Fails to Mention Plan Started Under Biden.” The article reports in part: “In a five-minute segment on February 12, 2025, Maddow presented a copy of the State Department procurement plan for 2025 that contained an item line for a proposed $400 million purchase of “armored Teslas.” While the report named Tesla, it did not specify which vehicle the agency hoped to buy. But what Maddow failed to mention was that the forecast document she cited was released in December 2024, under Biden. The host, instead, vaguely introduced the document as “the latest procurement forecast.”
Maddow’s lies along with many other irrational, illogical propaganda schemers all worked to escalate rage against Tesla dealerships and Tesla car owners.
Maddow tried to gaslight her viewers with the ridiculous idea that President Trump, the most America First president our country has had in decades, is siding with and subordinate to Russia. Rachel Maddow said “I think whatever Americans voted for I don’t think people voted to make the United States a subsidiary, diplomatic entity to Vladimir Putin which is the way he is operating here. You talk about whether or not the United States is any longer associated with the free world.”
