Followed science instead of leftist styled power grabs to deal with the Covid crisis from the beginning.  His leadership protected the lives of millions of Florida seniors while governors in Michigan, New York and Pennsylvania caused mass loss of life to elderly.  Despite harsh criticism and attacks by the liberal media across the country Governor DeSantis quickly executed orders to protect the rights of people of faith to assemble and limit the harmful business closures that ruined the economies of other states.

Signed Florida’s “Parental Rights In Education” bill into law.  This law prohibits teachers from instructing or discussing gender identity and sexual orientation with children attending kindergarten through 3rd grade. 

Signed on the first day of Gay Pride month a bill which prohibits transgenders from competing in sports when their birth sex is different from the gender they claim for competition. 

Slammed the NCAA for allowing a transgender swimmer to compete for and win a women's championship. 

Stripped Disney of its special tax status when the corporation attacked DeSantis and the State of Florida for signing the “Parental Rights In Education” bill.  Disney employees’ woke label of “Don’t Say Gay” bill was truly a misnomer.  DeSantis stookd up to Disney for making the LGBTQ agenda the priority over the innocence of children. Thanks to DeSantis’ leadership some companies across the country quickly recognized that wokeness was under major counter attack by consumers and abandoned some leftist policies. 

Sponsored and signed Florida’s “Individual Freedom” bill into law which bans Critical Race Theory from being taught in schools.   

Exposed 'Zuckerbucks' Influence On Elections.

Signed the “Election Administration” bill into law which will continue to make Florida a leader in election integrity by increasing penalties for ballot harvesting, expanding the ban on Zuckerbucks, and establishing an election integrity unit in state government to enforce Florida laws.
