Coca Cola response to Glenn Martin DDS show very concerning, please send your email to Coca Cola officials

Florida Family Association's monitoring efforts during the past six months have influenced the:

* MTV networks to drop the RuPaul Drag Race Show on VH1 and Centric.
* Entertainment Channel to drop Playboy's Girls Next Door, True Hollywood Story Hugh Hefner Girlfriends, Wives and Centerfolds, True Hollywood Story Jenna Jameson and Sexiest series
* MTV networks to drop Glenn Martin DDS from MTV2 and Comedy Central.

The reason these networks removed these shows is because many Florida Family Association supporters sent thousands of emails to advertisers who reacted responsibly by informing the networks that they did not want their advertisements to appear on these shows again.

However, surprisingly that may not be the case with Coca Cola who first denied advertising on Glenn Martin DDS and then subsequently indicated the content may be okay since they alleged that the show aired late at night.

Coca Cola's first response to our office's email denied that their ads appeared during Glenn Martin DDS on MTV2. Their June 14, 2010 email published in full below under the EMAIL EXCHANGE section stated in part "You may be pleased to know that we have not advertised any of our brands during this show."

Coca Cola's second response admits advertising on the show but implies that the content of the Glenn Martin DDS show is okay because of when it airs. Their June 18, 2010 email published in full below under the EMAIL EXCHANGE section stated in part "After further research we have determined that our ad did in fact air on MTV2 at approximately 1a.m. You may be interested to know that The Coca-Cola Company does not market to children. This particular show normally airs in late evening, at a time that we would expect to have an adult audience."

Glenn Martin DDS has aired on the Nickelodeon cartoon network as early at 8 pm. The current schedule airs the irresponsible cartoon at 10:30 pm on Friday when children could reasonably be expected to watch this cartoon network.

Florida Family Association is committed to aggressively urging companies to stop advertising on Glenn Martin DDS which continues to air on the Nickelodeon cartoon network that is watched by millions of children. Our office also continues to send emails to the CEOs and Marketing VPs of the companies that advertise on Modern Family, Blue Mountain State and several other irresponsible shows.

Coca Cola's denial and then justification regarding the Glenn Martin DDS show is surprising and sets a dangerous precedent for their company. It is alarming that a company as large and mainstream as Coca Cola has taken this position regarding the content of the Glenn Martin DDS show given the large number of companies who have openly rejected the program. Pepsi Quaker Oats division, JC Penney, Choice Hotels, 1800Contacts, Toys R Us, McCormick, Colgate, VTech and Progressive have openly rejected and repudiated the irresponsible content of Glenn Martin DDS.

Florida Family Association asked Coca Cola two times if they intended to advertise on the show again without reference to the network on which Glenn Martin DDS airs. And two times Coca Cola declined to answer.

IT IS IMPORTANT to all of our future monitoring efforts that we confront Coca Cola regarding their response to the content of the Glenn Martin DDS show.

Florida Family Association has prepared an email for you to send urging Coca Cola officials to make their position clear by placing the Glenn Martin DDS show on their "do not advertise" list.

It is disappointing to see such a reputable company as Coca-Cola respond
with such false information.

A Sprite advertisement did in fact appear on the Glenn Martin DDS show
06/09/2010 at 01:00 on the MTV2, Comcast Channel 140 in Cape Coral,
Florida.

The Sprite ad was the second ad on the episode falling behind a MTV ad and
before a World of War Craft ad.

The Sprite ad showed some young men sitting around a table in an area with
a building marked as stage 4. The men were without ideas on movies. One man
picks up a Sprite and drinks it. A panda and ship fly through the air.
The man says I have an idea. Graphics appear on the screen stating Mix Your
Own Movie ...

Again, it is disappointing to see your company deny this ad appeared on
this show. It is equally disappointing to receive such a response without
indicating future intent unlike many other responsible advertisers have
informed us of their future intent not to advertise on this irresponsible
show.

WE PLAN to share your dishonest response in an email to our constituency
and post the same online Thursday, June 17th.

OBJECTIONABLE CONTENT

Many, many companies have stopped advertising on this irresponsible cartoon thanks to the thousands of emails sent to them from FFA supporters. Some examples of the Glenn Martin DDS content which are inappropriate for children include:

• Glenn has phone sex with automobile navigation voice.
• Brother and sister tout their incestuous relationship.
• 13 year old boy cites porn magazine.
• Mom has intimate relationship with 13 year old boy.
• Parents engage in handcuff sexual bondage.
• Young adult females kissing in pool.

A more detailed description of these episodes is provided below.

DESCRIPTION OF SOME OBJECTIONABLE EPISODES

In the FATAL DIRECTION episode Glenn has phone sex with automobile navigation voice.

Female automobile navigation voice asks Glenn - Now I want you to grab the wheel, nice and gentle.  Are you grabbing it?

Glenn replies - Yes.

Female navigation voice – I want you take the 31 going south.  Do you like going south?  I will take you wherever you want to go.  Intercourse Pennsylvania.  Morehead Minnesota.  Climax Florida.

Female navigation voice – Oh my God I just love this (radio) station.

Glenn says in a courting voice – You like that huh.  You like it slow and you like it … Glenn jumps from his seat as the wind shield washers squirt water on the windshield.

Glenn says – I’ll just wipe that up.

No one “wipes up” water that a windshield washer sprays on the outside of windshield.  The innuendo here is sick.

In the HALLOWEEN HANGOVER episode a brother and sister tout their incestuous relationship and 13 year old Conor Martin cites a porn magazine.

A girl at a campground site playing truth or dare says to Courtney Martin – Alright little miss piss.  I dare you to spend seven minutes in heaven with the monkey boy.  She points to Conor Martin.

Courtney Martin – That monkey boy is my brother.

Campground boy sitting very close to and holding hands with his sister – "That didn’t stop us."   The boy and girl laughed as they swung their hands held out with their fingers grasped together.

Conor asks his sister’s friend, Wendy, who he kissed in the absence of his sister kissing him in the dare – Hey is that my retainer?

Wendy – Yes.  I wear it to think of you.

Conor excitedly blurts out – Oh, oh, oh dear Penthouse Forum.
 
In the LITTLE MISS BACKSTABBER episode a mom has intimate relations with a 13 year old boy and parents engage in handcuff sexual bondage.

The mother of one of Conor Martin's girlfriends jumps on the couch with Conor and says "I've been so lonely since my boyfriend the colonel moved on.  Colonel was his nick name because he wasn't very gifted in the crotchetory area.  No bigger than a kernel of corn.  That left momma feeling hungry.  Whatever Clementine wants momma gets."  The MOM then jumped on top of 13 year old Conor.

The next scene shows the 13 year old Conor at the table with the rest of his family staring at his condition.  He was obviously worked over sexually by AN ADULT.  He was worn out with lipstick all over his face. Then the scene flips to Glenn where he becomes handcuffed to the bed for kinky sex.

Another scene near the end of this episode shows Conor return to his girlfriend's home and three times jumps sexually on the girlfriend's mother AN ADULT who is reclining on the couch.   The third time the ADULT MOM tells Conor "I could just eat you whole."
