Wal-Mart requires Flexsure vendor to remove tagged advertisements from Al Jazeera America.

Wal-Mart’s Chief Marketing Officer has informed Florida Family Association that they have required FlexSure to stop advertising on Al Jazeera America because their store named was tagged on the advertisements.

Florida Family Association tapes ten hours of programing on Al Jazeera America every day.  The Florida Family Association office communicates with each advertiser no less than once per week.  Florida Family Association always contacts the stores involved when a vendor's advertisement on Al Jazeera America tags a store's company name and/or logo.  Flexsure was tagging their advertisements with Wal-Mart and Walgreens as the stores to purchase their product.

Wal-Mart's Chief Marketing officer final response to Florida Family Association stated:

Hi David,

I believe we have the ads pulled and this has caused us to redouble efforts to ensure that our vendors comply with our broadcast standards.  I can't tell you how helpful you've been in getting us to a better place on this because of your willingness to send me notes just like this one.  It is much appreciated because this is important to our company and to our brand and our customers.  Much appreciated.  All the best for a better 2015.

Sincerely,
Stephen Quinn
EVP & Chief Marketing Officer

The Flexsure advertisements have stopped airing on Al Jazeera America.  A total of two hundred five (205) companies have stopped advertising on Al Jazeera America.  There are currently only eighteen companies regularly advertising on Al Jazeera America. All but one of these advertisers are very small companies that buy unwanted advertising time in bulk from multiple channels.  This means the vast majority of Al Jazeera America’s advertising is being purchased for dimes on the dollar.

Al Jazeera, who showed disdain for Paris murder victims, is a news company that is owned by the non-democratic, monarch styled emirate of Qatar who allows wealthy citizens to financially support ISIS, supports the Muslim Brotherhood, backs the head of Hamas, espouses Islamic Sharia law and does not afford citizens freedom of the press.  The news media does influence the political positions of the public.  The Islamist political positions held by Al Jazeera officials and/or owner pose a threat to changing American public policy that has protected life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
