A total of one hundred one (101) companies have stopped advertising on Al Jazeera America aka CurrentTV after receiving emails of concern from the Florida Family Association office or thousands of Florida Family Association supporters.
Pfizer appears to have stopped advertising on Al Jazeera America aka CurrentTV after several rounds of email alerts. Florida Family Association sent out an email alert on April 15, 2013 which reported that Pfizer was a new advertiser on Al Jazeera America. The alert encouraged readers to send emails to five Pfizer officials regarding their promotions for Chantix, Lyrica and other medicines. Pfizer stopped advertising on April 15, 2013 for three weeks. However, their advertisements recommenced in early May. Florida Family Association sent out more email alerts on May 11, 2013, June 4, 2013 and June 17, 2013 encouraging supporters to send emails to Pfizer officials. Pfizer advertisements stopped airing on June 24, 2013.

Florida Family Association monitors ten hours of programing on Al Jazeera America aka CurrentTV every day. The Florida Family Association office communicates with each advertiser no less than once per week. Top advertisers are strategically featured one at a time because there are so few of them.
Al Jazeera, the Arabic news cable channel headquartered in the Middle East (Doha, Qatar), purchased the CurrentTV channel which has the potential of reaching millions of viewers in the United States. Al Jazeera is a mouthpiece for radical Islamists. Al Jazeera America is the new, tentative name for CurrentTV.
