Dodge-Fiat stops advertising on Al Jazeera America.

Florida Family Association issued an email alert on March 12, 2013 that reported “The combination of Dodge Dart II and Fiat advertisements made the company a leading advertiser on Al Jazeera America.  Fiat owns a majority share in Chrysler Group LLC which is the parent company of Dodge.”

Florida Family Association supporters sent thousands of emails to eleven Chrysler and Fiat corporate officials and one hundred Chrysler and Fiat dealership officials.

Dodge-Fiat advertisements stopped airing on Al Jazeera America on March 17, 2013.  Florida Family Association has not recorded any Dodge or Fiat advertisements on Al Jazeera America since March 17, 2013.

Three more companies have communicated their intentions to pull off Al Jazeera America.  Florida Family Association will report these companies after their advertisements stop appearing on the channel.
 
Florida Family Association sent out an email alert on January 14, 2013 which reported that Al Jazeera, the Arabic news cable channel headquartered in the Middle East (Doha, Qatar), purchased the CurrentTV channel which has the potential of reaching millions of viewers in the United States.   Al Jazeera America is the new, tentative name for CurrentTV.  Al Jazeera is the mouthpiece for the Muslim Brotherhood and Arab Spring.  The Muslim Brotherhood is the single largest promoter of the radical Islamist movement in the world.  Nothing less should be expected to come from Al Jazeera’s access to cable viewers in America.

Since there are so few mainstream advertisers on Al Jazeera America and very few new advertisers, Florida Family Association plans to deal with the individual companies instead of grouping them together.  Americans, true Americans, need to know which companies are supporting Al Jazeera America.  Profiling each top advertiser one at a time accomplishes that educational need.
