Virginia legislator Bob Marshall has introduced HB 825 which restricts Virginia courts from recognizing "foreign laws" which would include Islamic Sharia law.

HB 825.  Application of foreign laws.  Prohibits any Virginia court or administrative agency from applying the law of any jurisdiction outside of the United States and its territories unless the application is required by the United States Constitution, the Constitution of Virginia, or any federal or state law.  Click here for more information on this bill. 

However, “An odd alliance of the Virginia Chamber of Commerce, Virginia Bar Association, Muslim Association of Virginia and the All Dulles Area Muslim Society (ADAMS)Center of Northern Virginia testified against Marshall's bill Friday and are working against the bill's supporters -- Virginia Anti-Shariah Task Force (VAST), SIOA and elements of the Tea Party .”  According to Pamela Geller, Executive Director of Stop Islamization of America (SIOA).

We cannot allow these Muslim Brotherhood groups to defeat this legislation and keep their pro-Sharia, anti-freedom agenda alive.
